ABOUT DMMMSU-ICHAMS

Primarily, DMMMSU was established to provide advanced instruction in the arts, fishery, engineering and natural sciences as well as in technological and professional fields, promote research, and engage in extension work (DMMMSU,2010). Before the 21st century, the school only offered one health education option to a college aspirant which was Diploma in Midwifery. By global demand and with passion to grow, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) was pioneered in 2004 with the establishment of the Institute of Community Health and Allied Medical Sciences (ICHAMS) to offer both health educations and to open doors to other health-related degrees in the future.
